The Suncoast Glass Guild (SGG) is a membership organization that strives to unite and inform Florida’s Gulf Coast multi-disciplined art glass community. It is open to all people who love, work, or dream about glass — hobbyists and professionals alike.
Techniques and media used by members include acid etching, fusing, glass blowing, glass casting, glass mosaics, lampworking, painting on glass, sandblasting, stained glass and more.
The Suncoast Glass Guild is open to everyone visiting or residing in the well-known coastal cities of St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Largo, Tampa, Brandon, Ruskin, Bradenton, Sarasota, Punta Gorda, Englewood, Cape Coral, Fort Myers Beach, Venice, and Naples.
Come to a Meeting!
The Suncoast Glass Guild meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month in the West Wing of the Unitarian Church of Sarasota unless a special event, or field trip has been scheduled. Be sure to double check our Meetings page so you go to the right place!
We currently hold the room from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The meeting starts at 6:45 p.m and ends around 8:15 p.m. You are encouraged to bring snacks to share. Beverages and paper goods are provided. Everyone gets a half hour to schmooze before and after — a great way to meet new glass friends!
Unitarian Universalist Church of Sarasota is located on 3975 Fruitville Road, Sarasota, FL 34232. There is plenty of parking.
